How it works

How StatusGreen works

Three steps to get set up — then StatusGreen runs from the cloud, not your laptop.

Step 1

Connect your workspace

Install our lightweight browser extension and click once. It reads your existing Slack session — the same one your browser already uses — so there are no passwords to type and nothing to copy or paste. The moment you're connected, you can remove the extension; it's only needed for this step.

Step 2

Set your hours

Choose the days and times you want to appear active, right down to a lunch break. Your schedule is yours to change whenever your routine does. This is the only thing StatusGreen ever acts on — your presence follows these hours and nothing else.

Step 3

Close your laptop

From here on, our cloud holds your Slack presence on your schedule. Your computer can be off, asleep, or on the other side of the world. When your hours end, StatusGreen steps back and Slack returns to normal; when they begin again, your presence resumes automatically. Need to genuinely go offline? Pause in one click.
